BIM.fundamentals
In the interdisciplinary course BIM.fundamentals, the theoretical and practical basics of Building Infromation Modeling are taught. During the lecture, the technological fundamentals of digital planning tools are introduced and discussed along with issues related to data exchange and data management. In the exercise, students learn how to use tools for digital design, simulation, analysis and collaboration. This course comprises the necessary knowledge and abilities to participate in the practical course BIM.project that takes place during the winter semester.
The full description of the module can be found on TUMonline. The language of the course is English.
Please note: BIM.fundamentals is the first course that students who are interested in Building Information Modeling should attend. If you want to develop your skills further, you should subsequently participate in BIM.project and BIM.advanced.
Organisation
The lecture and the exercise take place each Friday during the summer semester.
In SS2024, the first class takes place on Friday, 19.04.2024. All the lectures are provided via recorded videos in SS2024. The seminars take place at 11:30 - 13:00.
