During the University Day on January 15, 2025, the eagerly awaited award ceremony for the competition organized by the Federal Association for Old Building Renovation (BAKA) "STUDENTS | DESIGN | FUTURE" took place at BAU 25. From a strong nationwide field of applicants, nine teams reached the finals, including high-quality contributions from various technical universities.
We are exceptionally proud that three of the four awarded teams are from our Master's program in Resource-Efficient and Sustainable Building (M.Sc. RNB). These remarkable achievements underline the quality and commitment of our students and teachers.
Competition Results:
- 1st Prize:
- Team 1: "Das neue Marxzentrum – Gemeinschaft im Mittelpunkt" from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), represented by Ramona Braemer, Xiaole Fan, Christina Lipowsky, Friederike Motzkus, Maximilian Puche.
- Team 4: "ÜBER DEN DECKEN-RAND HINAUS..." from the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences (THA), represented by Niklas Lorenzen, Julian Buttenmüller, Mona-Helen Pfeifer.
- 2nd Prize:
- Team 3: "Freizeit-Campus neu denken" from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), represented by Melina Köhn, Sebastian Lederer, Vincent Ritter.
- Team 8: "Velo-City" also from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), represented by Linda Kick, Denise Aust.
- Special Prize:
- Team 6: "Living Environment Improvement for People with Migration Background" from the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences (THR), represented by Emilia Rebecca Lehmann, Susanna Kleiner.
