Our master’s graduate, Fatma Deghim, has been honored with the Johannes B. Ortner Prize at TU Munich 2023 for her master's thesis titled “A data-driven approach for predicting occupant thermal comfort in offices.”
Fatma Deghim had the privilege of receiving the Johannes B. Ortner Foundation award for 2023, alongside several other graduates, at the TUM Awards Dinner.
Since 2005, the Johannes B. Ortner Foundation has been presenting awards to support research projects by emerging scientists in the fields of natural sciences and engineering, particularly in architecture and civil engineering. Additionally, the foundation supports the study and training programs offered by TUM abroad.
The work was supervised by Farzan Banihashemi (Chair of ENPB), Sebastian Koth (Chair of Building Technology and Climate Responsive Design), and Professor Werner Lang (Chair of ENPB).
We are delighted to have Fatma Deghim continue as a research assistant in our team, and we congratulate her on the well-deserved recognition she has received for her outstanding master's thesis!"
