Results for samples compacted at wcomp. = 2.2 % - 8.9 % to ID = 0.69
The improvement effect is obtained because soil water is absorbed by the dry, porous recycling material. It has been investigated and confirmed through extensive expermental testing. A simple mathematical model for the development of the compaction properties of the treated soils, and a proposed list of suitability tests has been made available.
