Introduction to Additive Manufacturing in Construction
In this module, students will gain an overview of additive manufacturing processes in construction. Through an excursion to the AMC Lab, the center of additive manufacturing in construction at TUM, they will also gain insights into the manufacturing processes and research work in this field. The creation of a scientific paper on a specific aspect of additive manufacturing gives the students the opportunity not only to expand their knowledge in this area but also to learn or deepen existing competencies in the process of creating a scientific work.
Learning Outcomes
After successfully participating in this module, students will have an overview of the field of additive manufacturing in construction and will be able to describe individual additive manufacturing processes. They can independently collect, structure, and evaluate information on a given topic. In addition, they are able to present this information in a formally correct form and to present it.
