Introduction to CAD

The course 'Introduction to CAD' gives students an overview of the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) in civil engineering. Different software solutions will be presented and the basic features of selected applications will be learned in exercises on the computer. This should also enable the student to become familiar with other programs in a short period of time. In addition, individual topics such as digital stocktaking or presentation and communication of CAD content in lectures, presentations and exercises are covered.

Learning Outcomes

The course aims to prepare future teachers at vocational schools to support their students in working with CAD. At the same time, they will be provided with tools for creating their own teaching materials.
