At the Chair of Timber Structures and Building Construction there are different possibilities to write a thesis. Due to the size of the chair and the large number of enquiries and support, there is no general overview or coordination of the assignment of topics. If you are interested, it is best to contact the relevant colleagues directly whose topics are published or whose research topics (see current research projects) arouse your interest. It is best to ask personally whether there are other possible topics to work on or whether your own ideas would be suitable. An exposé should be written and discussed with the supervisor prior to the start of the processing period. In the exposé, the research project is briefly summarised, i.e. the central question, the approach and the goal of the work are outlined.
