03/02/2014 - Philipp Mamot joins the TUM Landslide Research Group as a PhD candidate to study slope instability in the Garmisch - Partenkirchen region

Philipp Mamot joins the TUM Landslide Research group to begin a 3-year study of rock slope instabilities in one of the most hazardous regions of Germany. Following the completion of his MSc at the Department of Geography at Bonn University, Philipp spent the last summer working as an assistant in the Landslide Research group. Philipp's project is expected to provide insight into the mechanisms driving rock slope instabilities, and associated hazards in Alpine regions.
