Congratulations to Dr.-Ing. Christoph Schwaller, who was awarded the Willy-Hager Price 2023 for the best dissertation entitled 'Agricultural irrigation demand modeling and assessment of membrane ultrafiltration alone or hybridized with inline dosed powdered activated carbon for non-potable water reuse applications’.
The Willy-Hager Award is given to young scientists for outstanding contributions in the field of process engineering related to water and wastewater treatment. The award is named after the engineer Willy Hager (1905–1975), who founded at the age of 27 the company Hager+Elsässer GmbH in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. The award ceremony takes place during the annual meeting of the Water Chemistry Society.
