We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming dates of the lecture series ‘Presentations on current hydraulic engineering topics’ of the Association of Friends of the Chair of Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering, Technical University of Munich. We welcome the following speakers for the winter semester 24/25:
17 October 2024 at 18:00 Markus Grünzner from Fichtner Water & Transportation GmbH with the topic ‘Current 3D numerical projects at FWT’. [in German]
21 November 2024 at 18:00 Dr Johannes Wesemann from VERBUND Innkraftwerke GmbH with the topic ‘Renaturation and hydropower - (no) contradiction? The run-of-river power plant on the Lower Salzach as a pilot project’ [in German]
6 February 2025 (tentative date) at 18:00 Mr. Atul Jaiswal from the Chair of Hydraulic Engineering with the topic ‘Flow- and Particle-Resolved Modelling of Fine Sediment Infiltration’ [in English]

The lecture will take place at the TUM main campus in the Dieter-Thoma-Lab and will also be broadcasted online via Zoom.
