Research interests
As a scientist mainly working in high Arctic regions, I am especially interested in the rapidly changing Arctic environment. I focus on retrogressive thaw slump, a thermokarst feature being a common type of landslide along Arctic Rivers and Coastlines and their subsurface structures investigated by electrical resistivity tomography (ERT). Nevertheless, I am still interested in alpine regions – the area I was trained in.
My Arctic research takes place in Herschel Island (Canada) and Zackenberg (Greenland).
