Adrian Emmert joins the TUM Landslide Research group as a guest researcher to finish his PhD thesis on the internal structure of periglacial landforms. From 2014 to 2017, Adrian worked as a research assistant at the University of Wuerzburg, from where he started his work on rock glaciers, solifluction lobes and palsa landforms in Switzerland and Iceland. Aims of his research are the small-scale detection and characterization of permafrost occurrences to improve the understanding of subsurface processes. After completing his fieldwork, he will now finish his PhD thesis (supervised by Prof. Kneisel, Wuerzburg) with the Landslide working group.
