For the first time, we organized an overview excursion covering key spots for the Engineering Geomorphology of Southern Germany this March. This excursion is part of the masters study Engineering and Hydrogeology at TUM. Together with the students, we studied the glacial and periglacial geomorphology west of Munich, the beautiful karst spring at Blautopf, the Steinheim metorite crater, the massive Mössingen rock slide, Schwarzwald bedrock, and finally ended at Kaiserstuhl with very special volcanic rocks and good local wine. Looking forward to next year!
