For his dissertation on the “Early warning of rock slope failures – real-time monitoring, process analysis and failure time forecasting”, Dr. Johannes Leinauer received the outstanding PhD award of the Munich Geo Center MGC. The MGC is the joint center for Munich´s two geo-universities: Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) and Technische Universität München (TUM). Both universities constantly rank top in Germany, among the best in Europe and the top 50 in the world.
