Mateja Jemec Auflič joined the TUM Landslide Research Group as a postdoctoral researcher from Geological Survey of Slovenia from June to September. She was awarded the Climate and Seismic Controls of Future Rockfall Activity in the Calcareous Alps of Germany and Slovenia project funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). She studied the inventory of rockfalls in the Julian Alps, which is the closest to potential seismically induced landslides in the Northern Calcareous Alps.
Mateja has brought immense joy and positivity to our group. Her work is truly inspiring and we look forward to continuing our intensive exchange of research ideas.
