We look back with satisfaction on the TUM Solid Construction Excursion 2024, which took place in October with our Master's students.
During this week, we visited innovative companies such as Heidelberg Materials in Schelklingen, Herrenknecht in Schwanau, XtreeE Lab in Paris and Bouygues Construction in Versailles. A visit to the University of Gustav Eiffel gave us an insight into their current research projects. We were also able to visit exciting construction projects such as the Neckar Valley Bridge in Horb with the Karlsruhe Regional Council and a construction site of the Grand Paris Express of the consortium with Wayss & Freytag, Demathieu Bard, Implenia and Impresa Pizzarotti.
We want to thank all the companies, contact partners, and managers who have welcomed us. A big thank you to all the interested, knowledge-thirsty students and the Förderverein Massivbau der TU München e.V. for their financial support. And last but not least, of course, a huge thank you to Prof Fischer for making such excursions possible!
Detailed insights can be found in our excursion report, which includes a detailed description.
